This record is the reason Nat King Cole is synonymous with the holiday season.

Originally released in 1960 as The Magic of Christmas, the album was retitled two years later to The Christmas Song when Cole's definitive 1961 re-recording of the title track was added (dropping "God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen" to make room for it).

This 2014 vinyl reissue by Capitol brings the album back with beautifully restored cover art that stays faithful to the original.
