Acclaimed jazz trombonist Wycliffe Gordon brings his unmistakable New Orleans influenced swing to Holiday Fun!, a lively collection of Christmas favorites released in 2025 on Arbors Records.

Joined by an impressive group of longtime musical collaborators and friends, Gordon puts his own spin on thirteen holiday and wintertime selections, blending traditional jazz, blues, and big-band influences with playful arrangements and spirited improvisation.

This album features familiar favorites including "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," "Winter Wonderland," "Frosty the Snowman," and "Silent Night," alongside jazzier selections like "The Christmas Blues," "The Mistletoe Blues," and Thelonious Monk's "Green Chimneys."

Gordon's trombone takes center stage, but he also contributes vocals, trumpet, sousaphone, and piano. With a mix of instrumental performances and vocal arrangements, Holiday Fun! captures the warmth, humor, and spontaneous energy of a holiday gathering among talented friends.
