Ranked #9 on Rolling Stone's 25 Greatest Christmas Albums of All Time, Soul Christmas is a collection of killer funk, soul and R&B holiday songs.

Originally compiled by Atlantic/Atco in 1968 and long out of print on vinyl, Soul Christmas pulls together eleven tracks from an absolutely stacked lineup: Otis Redding, Carla Thomas, Solomon Burke, Joe Tex, Clarence Carter, William Bell, King Curtis, and Booker T & The MGs. The tracklist covers everything from holiday soul classics like Clarence Carter's "Back Door Santa" to Christmas deep cuts like Solomon Burke's "Presents for Christmas" and William Bell's "Every Day Will Be Like a Holiday."

This limited-edition 2017 reissue from Run Out Groove takes the fantastic collection of vintage soul, blues, and R&B and presses it on 180-gram, colored vinyl.
