This is a label-roster Christmas record done right. Dualtone Music Group is the Nashville imprint behind The Lumineers, Brandi Carlile, Mt. Joy, and many other of the best modern Americana and folk-rock acts of the last two decades.

This album showcases the talent and range of Dualtone's artists. The Lone Bellow open with a warm, string-driven version of "Marshmallow World," The Lumineers provide their take on "Blue Christmas," and Delta Spirit bring a gritty rendition of "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town."

This album also shines when it comes to the originals. From Kathleen Edwards' "It's Christmastime (Let's Just Survive)" to Mt. Joy's "Every Holiday," A Dualtone Christmas is stacked from top to bottom.
