Following the success of 2011's A Very She & Him Christmas, Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward released Christmas Party in 2016, a livelier, more playful album that still captures their signature blend of vintage pop, folk, and indie charm.

The 12-song album mixes familiar favorites with some unexpected gems. There's a retro-styled take on Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas Is You" and a breezy "Mele Kalikimaka," alongside lesser-covered holiday songs like Vashti Bunyan's "The Coldest Night of the Year" and Frank Sinatra's "Christmas Memories." Special guests include Jenny Lewis, the Chapin Sisters, and Sonic Youth drummer Steve Shelley.

This limited-edition import, released for RSD (Record Store Day) Black Friday 2025, features the complete album pressed on Snowflake White vinyl. This special pressing is a terrific addition to any Christmas record collection, especially for listeners who appreciate a little hipster nonsense mixed in with their holiday nostalgia.
