Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward bring their love of vintage pop and classic holiday recordings to A Very She & Him Christmas, the duo's first Christmas album, released in 2011 on Merge Records.

Inspired by the timeless sounds of The Carpenters, The Beach Boys, and Vince Guaraldi, the 12-song album includes charming interpretations of "The Christmas Waltz," "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas," and "Silver Bells," alongside playful takes on "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," "Little Saint Nick," and "Sleigh Ride." The duo's understated approach gives these familiar favorites a wonderfully nostalgic, homespun quality.

With its blend of indie folk, retro pop, and old-fashioned Christmas charm, A Very She & Him Christmas feels like a holiday record from another era. A cozy, timeless addition to any Christmas music collection.
