Known for his unmistakable saxophone sound and his work with the legendary Bill Black's Combo, Ace Cannon brought a distinctive blend of Memphis rhythm and blues, country, and easy listening to instrumental music throughout his career. On 12 Saxophone Christmas Classics, he turns his attention to a dozen traditional holiday favorites, giving each a warm, melodic treatment that is unmistakably his own.

From the cheerful "Jingle Bells" and "Deck the Halls," to more somber selections like "O Holy Night," "What Child Is This," and "Silent Night," Cannon's saxophone playing takes center stage. A great collection of songs from one of the great saxophonists of the Memphis music scene.
